Welcome behind the scenes.

This page compiles materials we created over the years as part of the urban fox project. In this assortment, you can see the way we repurposed images of the foxes from a data base. I filmed the foxes in my parents backyard and we edited and selected frames from this footage, to be made into loops and streaming jpeg sequences, to use in linear media and non-linear geographies. Remember, this was before the days of streaming quicktime .mov files. The only way we could make "video" that didn't need to be downloaded was to create streaming jpeg sequences.... pretty clever workaround, I think !

The next set of links show the various ways we approached modeling the architecture of my family home and its yard, where the urban foxes dwelled. These are the foundation for memory architectures I subsequently created using Second Life
